Richard is the Founder and Chairman of Quick Credit & Investment Micro-Credit Limited, a micro-credit company licensed by the Bank of Ghana as a Non-Deposit taking Financial Institution.
The company which is over a decade started with just 2 branches and later increased to 25 Branches in some regions in Ghana and currently operates remotely across the country with over 70,000 clientele base and over 500 direct employees.
He is also the Founder and Chairman of Oya Micro-Credit Company Ltd. a micro-credit company in Eastern and Western Africa such as Tanzania, Uganda, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Nigeria, and Kenya to help young businesses with loans to support their livelihood.
Richard’s tenacity in championing creativity in new business developments and passion for entrepreneurship propelled him to build another business empire “Quick Angels Limited ‘’.
He is currently the CEO of Quick Angels Limited; an Angel investor company that seeks to support potential and existing entrepreneurs as well as businesses that want to expand with equity financing.
The initiative by Mr. Richard Nii-Armah Quaye is to inspire entrepreneurship and business excellence in Ghana.
Quick Angels limited, which was established on May 8, 2019, has so far funded over 30 startups and businesses with over 70 million Ghana cedis
Some of the companies that have secured our equity funding include Oya Micro-credit Company Ltd, Ridge Medical Centre, Dough Man Foods, Prospectus Ghana, Zaconut, Pinkberry, Coli Network, Alcilla (into tilapia), Addicent Foods (rice production-Benjie rice), Dominion Paints-Agatex as the first brand, Sunsolar (into salt production), Sankofa Natural Spices, BEEfA Foods (first product- BEEfA CHIPS), Janam Cosmetics, CEQA Foods (Pizzaman and Chickenman), Burger King (Quick Angels franchise in Ghana), Morning Glory Publication, Mona Brand-Cosmetics, and Clothing and Tigon Creative Studios. These businesses also have direct employees of about a 1000.
In May 2021 he was named the outstanding financial service entrepreneur of the year and the outstanding CEO of the year at the 11th Ghana Entrepreneur & Corporate Executive Awards 2021.
His business Quick Credit & Investment Micro Credit Limited on May 2021 also won the outstanding SME of the year at the Ghana West Africa Business Excellence Awards.
In March 2021, he was appointed The Delegation for Ghana of the Global Chamber of Business Leaders.
Richard won the promising entrepreneur at Ghana Business Awards 2020, he also won the first amongst equals also termed as the overall at 40 under 40 awards, and defended the investment category award in 2020. Mr. Quaye was selected as part of 50 young Ceo’s in Ghana by Avance media in 2020. He won the European CEO Entrepreneur of the year award 2020 organized by Global Business Outlook.
He also received an honorary award at the Young Entrepreneurs Awards 2020 for his massive support towards startups in Ghana.
In 2019, he won the investment category 40 under 40 awards.
Richard got featured in ‘’those who inspire’’ a magazine endorsed by the President of Ghana to mentor the young generation in Ghana after careful analysis of his Business module and its impact so far on the younger generation by the team.
Due to his acumen, he has been invited twice to lecture at the Harvard School of Business on entrepreneurship.
Richard is currently the majority shareholder of Quick Credit & Investment Micro-Credit Limited, a micro-credit company licensed by Bank of Ghana as a Non-Deposit taking Financial Institution.
Born on 21 March 1984 at JamesTown, Accra, he grew up with a passion for Entrepreneurship and he is an Accountant by profession trained by ACCA.
Romeo Seshie is the CEO, Quick Credit &Investment Micro-Credit. Romeo, before his appointment as the CEO, was the Deputy Managing Director of the company. He rose through the ranks of a General Manager position through to the deputy CEO and currently the CEO. Mr. Seshie is an astute finance management personnel, motivated professional accountant, auditor, and financial analyst with over 10 years’ experience.
He has played a key role in preparing senior management strategic plans, providing financial analysis and leadership designs, spearheaded and implemented balanced and sound strategies while ensuring financial stability. He has strong strategic management capabilities with highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills and has proven to be able to develop innovative solutions. Due diligence is his hallmark and he has the ability to manage multiple, competing priorities to ensure that deadlines are met.
He has a high sense of professional integrity, respect for the rules of his profession, and compliance with relevant legislation, regulations, and rules of conduct. He has proven conceptual, analytical, and evaluative skills and the ability to conduct independent analysis, 4 identifying issues, formulating options, and drawing appropriate conclusions.
After transitioning the business from a branch-led one to a branchless business and winning a prestigious award, Mr. Seshie also won the Banking and Finance category at the 40 under 40 awards 2020 whiles leading the business to also win the SME Company of the Year at the 2020 Ghana Business Awards.
Under his leadership, Quick Credit won the Innovation in Financial Inclusion Loan Service Provider at the European Global Business and Finance Award 2020. Romeo is a Chartered Accountant and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountant Ghana (ICAG).
He holds a Master’s degree in Finance from Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and has a degree in Accounting and Information Systems from Regent University College of Science and Technology. He has a Higher National Diploma in Accounting from Accra Polytechnic; and also Advanced Executive Certificate in Financial Management from Leadership and Entrepreneurial Training Center, Tema.
He is a Certified Credit Administrator from National Banking College, Accra, and also a Certified Tally Accounting Software Administrators from I.P.M.C. Currently, Romeo is a Finalist at the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana, and also a Finalist at the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA)-UK. Romeo enrolled at Central University, Ghana to pursue LLB in 2018. He went to Keta Business Secondary School at Keta in the Volta Region.
Emmanuel Lamptey is currently the General Manager, Quick Angels Limited.
He is a trained Human Resource Practitioner, a business owner, a seasoned marketer, and a smart credit analyst.
He holds an MBA (Finance and Administration) from the Sikkim Municipal University, India and a Bachelor's degree in Arts (Hons.) Economics and statistics from the University of Cape Coast (U.C.C).
He is an analytical, pragmatist, proactive, ambitious, optimistic and forward-looking person, team builder and player with great organizational and leadership skills. He is proficient in both written and oral communication.
He is a staunch Christian with a philosophy of using his leadership and business acumen and skills to transform lives and to make life comfortable for people he comes into contact with. He is happily married with two (2) brilliant children.
Years of trading her services at different institutions have added vast knowledge and unlimited experience in her approach to tasks and dealings with people both at work and outside the work community. Mrs. Abigail Quartey‟s love for accounting and business brought to her doors an opportunity to work 10 years with Barclays Bank (GH).
She is a degree holder from the Central University College, Accra in Administration with a Higher National Diploma (Accounting) from Accra Polytechnic, and Ghana.
She is currently pursuing a professional course with the Institute of Human Resources Management Practitioners (IHRMP), Accra.
Her reputation of having the desire to strive and exceed expectations has earned her a place currently at Quick Credit & Investment Micro-Credit Limited where she takes the position of Human Resources and Corporate Affairs Manager. Her healthy human relations and a strong grasp of corporate governance translate into a cordial and well-coordinated workforce for the company. Possessing the necessary management and technical skills to not only hit the ground running but also initiate and execute operational duties of the human resource sector of the company. Utilizing her explicit understanding of the Ghana finance sector, she has been pivotal to ensuring better decision-making by the board and a proper code of conduct as an institution.
